Rony Sayegh

Finance Manager

Rony joined CWPAR in April 2023 as the organization’s Finance Manager.

His solid academic formation at the University of Holy Spirit of Kaslik (USEK), the multidisciplinary educational approach, and the practical project oriented coursework of his bachelor studies play a fundamental role in strengthening the depth and versatility of his knowledge in finance, accounting, auditing, and management related sciences. Moreover, pursuant to his ever-growing interest in pursuing graduate studies to further perfect and broaden his educational acumen and understanding of the field, he completed a master’s degree in Finance at USEK.
Furthermore, his experience with a major local audit firm, followed by a medium term tenure as an internal auditor with Chopsticks s.a.r.l. were an essential stepping-stone to secure an important position with Global Communities, a multinational Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) operating since 1952 all around the world. His tenure with Global Communities (formerly CHF) as an international internal auditor revolved around auditing affiliates across the globe and ensuring compliance with USAID rules and regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in effect. Four years later, Rony joined Vitas s.a.l., another Global Communities affiliate as A Director of Finance and Administration. This position strengthened his knowledge and exposure to taxation, internal and financial controls, reporting and compliance with Banque du Liban rules and regulations along with the Banking Control Commission of Lebanon.
Considering the baggage he has and his previous experience with Global Communities, Rony was assigned as director of international audit to support HQ finance team both in their 35 country offices and Head Quarters levels when it comes to compliance with donors and internal rules and regulations.
