Rima Kettaneh Nazzal


A feminist and political activist, a member of the Palestinian National Council, a member of the Central Council of the PLO, and a member of the General Secretariat of the General Union of Palestinian Women. A writer specializing in women’s issues, she has published several publications in the field, including the book Palestinian Women and Resolution 1325, a book about the effects of the occupation and the siege on Palestinian women, and about Palestinian women’s participation in local government. Coordinator of the National Women’s Coalition to implement Resolution 1325 and contributed to developing its vision and plan, a member of the CEDAW coalition, and a member of the Advisory Council in the Ministry of Women. Writer of a weekly article in Al-Ayyam daily newspaper. She attended many international, regional and local conferences and presented working papers.
